LEARN TO PLAY NATIVE AMERICAN FLUTE with the WHITE OWL DUO Limited to 12. Minimum 6
Playing the Native American flute is an opening into deeper expression of self because the soul connection is undeniable. LAURA LEE PERKINS, MS will be your flute instructor and flute-maker KEN GREEN will provide you with 6-hole flutes in the key of g. Because they use a finger-numbering system to teach you how to play, no musical background is required.
Is it the wood’s resonance, the natural modes that emulate the human voice, or the clarity of Native melodies that seems to awaken primal memories locked within the mysteries of our souls? When we feel summoned to new experience by the sound of the flute, are the ancients calling us, or do we long for meditative respite and peace? This class will explore the compelling power of this simple, indigenous instrument.
