Ken began multi-sensory engagement at Tufts, earning a BFA for his ability to coax expression from wood, clay and paint. Working as a carpenter and cabinetmaker provided for the material needs of family and self. He continued to explore quieter modes of expression- Qigong, Tai Chi and several indigenous traditions of mind-body balancing. A 2007 workshop on Thai Yoga Massage introduced him to the transformative power of this dancelike system of bodywork. He has worked with clients in sessions in the US and in Peru—from 20 minute protocols to sessions with clients seeking relief from physical ailments to body-mind reintegration. Like a tuning fork, Thai Yoga Massage encourages integration and balancing. Working with the Sen and ligaments of the feet offers a quick way of rebalancing ourselves to place and how we might walk there.
